Federal Way Public Market
The Federal Way Public Market is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping shape Federal Way’s future by creating a dynamic community-driven centerpiece for downtown—a year-round Public Market that fosters commerce, creates connections, and celebrates culture. Through collaboration with residents, city leaders, and local organizations, we aim to develop a sustainable marketplace that meets the needs of Federal Way and its surrounding communities. With your help we can open in 2028.
A year-round Public Market
Connecting Commerce, Community, and Culture
A vibrant, year-round destination is coming to Federal Way! Our new Public Market will feature local vendors, fresh food, handmade goods, and community events—celebrating the diversity and spirit of our region. It will be a place for community celebrations of all kinds and a permanent home for our beloved Federal Way Farmers Market.
Serving all the South Sound
A regional Public Market reflecting the many cultures of the South Sound
More than just a marketplace, this space is designed to serve as a cultural and economic hub—bringing people together, supporting small businesses, and creating new opportunities for connection and growth.
What is a Third Place?
The Federal Way Public Market, for one...
"The third place is a generic designation for a great variety of public places that host the regular voluntary, informal, and happily anticipated gatherings of individuals beyond the realms of home and work."
- Ray Oldenburg, The Great Good Place
